The Gospel
of Christ is the power of God unto salvation…
(Romans 1:16)
The Gospel message encompasses so much more than what we have
traditionally believed it to be and likewise the term salvation
also means so much more than simply going to heaven when we die.
Our salvation includes a complete “package” deal of
all those things that accompany salvation that we may appropriate
for our lives in the here and now. (Hebrews 6:9)
We need to know that as saints of God, we have been granted an
entire Kingdom and have inherited all things with Christ. (Luke
22:29, 17:20-21, Romans 8:15-17) All believers have access
to the things of God’s Kingdom and they are freely given
to us by grace. We cannot derive these spiritual benefits however
until we have knowledge of them and receive them by faith.
In this series we will be teaching about what Jesus has obtained
for us through His vicarious sacrifice on the cross, how believers
may appropriate these things by faith and go on to live a victorious
life in Christ through the power of the Spirit. It is God’s
will that we live in the freedom with which Christ has set us
free. God has freed us from somewhere to bring us to somewhere.
He has taken us from the kingdom of darkness and has brought us
into His Kingdom of light so that we may receive not only forgiveness
of sins but also an inheritance as sons of God. (Acts 26:16-18,
Galatians 5:1 KJV)
