Who
We Are
Truth And Spirit
Ministries is a small ministry with a big message! We
are based in the Appalachian hills of southern West Virginia and
have been called by God to reach people around the world with the
Good
News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Our hearts
passion is for the lost to be reconciled to God and to help believers
become rooted and grounded in the love, faith and knowledge of
Jesus Christ so they may grow up to become like Him.
(Ephesians 3:17, 4:15-16)
Our desire is
for believers to awaken to the fact that they are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood and a holy nation that is called to bring
glory to God in the earth today. (I Peter 2:9) We believe
that God has
given spiritual gifts to each believer to accomplish this and that
leadership is responsible to help cultivate that which God has placed
within the hearts of His people. We serve others by being:
A Prophetic
ministry that helps encourage, confirm, train and release the saints
in their God-given gifting and callings by the prophetic word and
the laying on of hands so that each believer may effectively serve
the Lord by His power. (Ephesians 4:11-15, I Timothy 4:14)
An Evangelistic
ministry that preaches that salvation is by grace and faith in Jesus
Christ alone. We go into the "highways and hedges" to
preach the gospel with signs (the power of God) following us. (Luke
14:23,
Mark 16:15-20)
A Teaching ministry
that helps believers become rooted and grounded in the word and
enable them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ. We warn of the dangers of false teaching and legalism that
would hinder Christians from running their spiritual race. We teach
New Testament doctrine and believers how to receive their inheritance
in Christ. (I Peter 2:2, II Peter 3:18).
